After the tremors from earlier, the village suffered more damage, but thanks to the efforts of Muramasa and some assistance from Tachibana, it's managed to hold up better.
The newly injured still need to be tended to. Epona helps them bind their wounds and rest.
Master, are you free to talk? I have something I want to discuss with you.
(edited)Some time after Lucius and his group left, a series of strong earthquakes shakes through the entire village. Thanks to the fortifications, many of the villagers are safe in their home, but some are still injured.
Epona is tending to the villagers, making sure they're all in their homes.
Epona turns her head to see a new arrival having rayshifted into her tribe's village.
"Another friend of Chaldea?"
She sizes him up, surprised to see a human at his size but keeping her confident posture up the entire time.
"You're not a Servant."
She turns her back to him again.
"Go into one of the buildings. They've been strengthened to withstand the earthquakes."
"You mean Surtr?"
Epona doesn't turn around as she keeps circling the village.
"Who is your partner?"
"I.. I don't know anything about that," Epona says, temporarily caught off guard.
"My appearance has nothing to do with Surtr."
She does have horns on her head, but that seems like a minor detail to her.
"I can't do anything like connect you with your family."
She pauses when she says that, but then she keeps going.
"You should really get into safety now."
"Why are you so stubborn?"
Epona turns around in anger.
"I don't know who your Surtr is, but I'm not her. Even if I wanted to help you learn about your family, I can't."
The earthquake continues, shaking through the entire village. After Erik made Epona let her guard down, she's slammed into one of the buildings, hitting her already wounded arm.
The earthquake that shakes through this village shouldn't be damaging Servants in the first place, but it's mythological origin within Ragnarok makes it a calamity that can potentially cause lethal damage to even a Servant's spirit core. Trees are ripped out of the ground and tossed over. One of them crashes down the hill and impacts one of the villages buildings.
Epona doesn't answer Erik. When one of the buildings is damaged, she simply holds her arm and immediately begins to move towards it to see if everyone is alright.
Muramasa can see that the village is in much worse shape even with his work to enhance the buildings. It won't be long until they start to give in.
He can also see Erik and Epona moving to the house that's already been damaged.
@[11]Arran [5]SkyeErik can move the rubble despite how heavy some of it is, but at the pace he's going, he'll need a lot more help to make a difference.
Seeing what the Servants are doing, Epona follows and begins to evacuate the villagers too. More and more of them being to leave the village and head to the fields.
Eventually, because of the efforts of Erik, Muramasa and Peter, almost all of the tribe has safely left the village when the houses begin to crumble.
A handful of them didn't make it, too badly wounded or buried in rubble.
The ground shakes again but weaker this time.
Epona groups with the two Servants, holding her right arm.
"Go," she says. "Keep them safe in the fields."
She goes to the rubble to look for the people who couldn't make it.
Epona nods and takes it.
Only rubble is left of the village.
